Are you no longer interested in using X Premium? It is simple to cancel.
The social networking platform’s paid edition, X Premium (previously Twitter Blue), grants access to additional features. A blue check mark on the platform is finally within reach for some people who purchase X Premium. But you should cancel your subscription if you feel that having X Premium is no longer worth it.
What you need to know to permanently cancel your X Premium subscription is provided here.
What Happens When You Cancel Your Twitter Blue Subscription?
First and foremost, there will be no further charges. Secondly, at the conclusion of the subscription period, your blue checkmark will be removed. You will also no longer be able to modify tweets. You will also miss the option to establish an X Community, customize app icons, build bookmark folders, format text, write longer posts, and more.
To put it briefly, all of the extra features that are only available with the paid plan will be lost if you terminate your X Premium subscription. Only when you re-sign up for X Premium will you be able to access those extra features.
How to End Your X Premium Subscription
X Premium can be cancelled in a few different ways, depending on how you signed up. We’ll walk you through canceling your X Premium subscription on the X mobile app and on the web.
Unsubscribing on the Website
If you registered for X Premium online, do the following. After logging in to X’s website, go to the left sidebar, click More, and choose the Settings and support dropdown menu. It will bring up a new menu. Choose Privacy and Settings.
Select Manage subscription under Premium from the Settings menu.
Click Manage your current subscription after that. Follow the link to access Stripe. To cancel your subscription, select Cancel plan.
Canceling Your Subscription on Mobile
You can only cancel your X Premium subscription on X for Android and iOS if you signed up using the app rather than the website. You must follow the above instructions if you subscribed through the website. However, a laptop or PC are not necessary. Alternatively, you can follow the above instructions to visit X on your mobile device using your preferred browser.
Otherwise, you can cancel through Google Play and the App Store if you signed up using an Android or iOS device.
To terminate X Premium on iOS, take the following actions:
1. Tap on your name after launching the Settings app.
2. Choose Subscriptions next. You can examine all of your subscriptions, both current and inactive, on the page that is displayed to you.
3. Lastly, select X from the list, then click Cancel subscription on the resulting page.
To terminate an app subscription on your iPhone or iPad, follow these instructions. You did not subscribe to X Premium through the iOS app if X is not visible on the list, like in the preceding example.
To use Android, take these actions:
1. Click on your profile photo in the upper right corner of the Play Store.
2. To examine all of your current subscriptions, choose Payments & Subscriptions and then Subscriptions.
3. Select X from the list by tapping it, then select Cancel subscription from the menu that appears.
Just like with iOS, you didn’t subscribe through the Android app if you don’t see X in your list of subscriptions, as shown in the above image. Furthermore, you can use this technique to unsubscribe from any Android app.
You Don’t Need That Blue Checkmark
paying’s not worth paying if you don’t find the blue checkmark or any other paid feature to be particularly useful. Even though many people wanted to obtain X’s blue checkmark, its value has decreased because everyone can now obtain it. If the blue checkmark was the only reason you paid for X, stop your subscription.
