With Snapchat’s generative AI function, Dreams, you can make amusing AI selfies.
You can make AI selfies with Snapchat’s generative AI function. This feature, called Dreams, allows you to make a shareable gallery of self-portraits. Here’s how to make your own AI selfies using Snapchat Dreams.
Is Snapchat Dreams Free?
Dreams is one of the reasons you should think about upgrading to Snapchat+ in addition to making your experience on Snapchat better. Paid users of Snapchat receive one free pack at signup and then another pack of free Dreams per month.
It’s important to remember that your next monthly AI pack is chosen at random, so you can receive the same one again.
On the other side, free users are not eligible for any free packs and must pay. Eight Dreams in a pack cost $1. This is true even though the Snapchat website states that each user receives a complimentary box. We tried this with two distinct accounts, and in both cases, generating a pack needed payment.
How to Use Snapchat Dreams to Create AI Selfies
If this function is new to you, you might have seen a prompt for it as soon as you opened Snapchat. It typically shows up as a banner that is above your open chats.
You must first post a series of selfies in order to use Dreams.
Take these actions to accomplish this:
1. To access your profile photo (or Bitmoji), open Snapchat and tap the upper left corner.
2. To access your settings, use the cogwheel icon located in the upper-right corner.
3. In the My Account section, scroll down and select AI selfies.
4. Select Generate AI Selfies.
5. After reading the terms and conditions, click Agree to proceed if you agree with them.
6. Go ahead and snap pictures. You will be asked to take multiple-angle selfies.
7. You can add images from your camera roll by tapping Add more photos after the selfie phase.
8. After selecting Done, a screen allowing you to select an outline that looks like a man or woman will appear. You can select one or omit that section completely.
You can use Dreams to create your AI selfies now that you have registered your photos.
1. As if you were going to take a Snap, tap the camera icon.
2. From there, swipe up to access Memories. To access the Memories page, simply swipe down if you’re confronted by flashback Snaps.
3. Click the glowing yellow “Create Dreams” button after selecting the Dreams tab.
4. One random batch of eight photographs is yours for free. After choosing it, watch for your pack to produce.
Your pack will be available in as little as thirty minutes, and you will be informed when it is.
Is Snapchat Dreams Good at Creating AI Selfies?
Depending on the pack you choose, the photographs’ accuracy will usually vary, but the more images it has to work with, the better the outcomes. The graphics in our pictures were far more realistic than those in the majority of other “AI filter apps” that are available.
These photos can be shared on other sites or used on Snapchat. To share an image on Snapchat, simply navigate to Dreams under Memories, choose the desired image, and click Send To.
The pencil icon in the bottom-left corner will turn into a sharing icon if you tap it to download the image. To view Download, tap the share symbol and scroll left on the menu. You can save the picture to your device by using that.
To obtain your own AI selfies from Snapchat, simply follow these steps. Vana can also be used to create AI portraits if you prefer it over the Dreams tool for creating selfies.
